Hav-a-skip 1066 hire waste disposal services including Skip Hire, Muck Away, Waste Disposal and Demolition Services. We aim to maintain our small family run attitude, offering old fashioned service and attention to detail, whilst being innovative and embracing a fully sustainable recycling policy.

We employ staff from the local area, Our policy is to remain a local company for local people.

Waste Transfer Station
We have Waste Transfer Station within our yard. We have been in close consultation with East Sussex County Council, The Environment Agency and The Highways Authority, to ensure that our plans have as little impact as possible on the environment and the local community, whilst ensuring that we can offer improved recycling targets for the Hastings area.

Traditionally, most waste collected has been removed in bulk to landfill sites, however by adopting a progressive attitude, and with innovative expertise, we can assist our customers to improve their sustainability targets, and reduce their environmental impact. If we are successful in our application we aim to recycle in excess of 80% of the unsorted waste we collect, increasing to 100% within two years, with pre-sorted skips continuing to go directly to approved recycling facilities in Sussex. We are actively pursuing a zero landfill policy, which we fully intend to achieve by 2012.
We are also working towards the following accreditations; BS EN 9001:2000 Quality Management System and BS EN 14001:1996 Environmental Management System.
